recently i ran by this article about a senior who tweeted a comment about a collage. while she was at a college visit at that college. "it was incredibly unusual and foolish of her to do that". says scott A. Meiklejohn, Bowdoins dean of admissions and financial aid. throughout this article it has a lot to relate to social media. a lot of people get truly upset and argue what happened to her. but truthfully she should of known better. obviously colleges look at your social media and people should be cautious of what they put on face-book, twitter, Instagram, etc. so basically if you have anything on your social media you need to delete it and hope no one noticed, this way colleges will have less on you and not know more things that you do not want them to know. so i would be very carefull with all information you put on the internet.

so recently i visited the Nerman Museum at JCCC community collage. and i am not a big Museum kind of guy, but it was actually pretty interesting. they had a whole exhibit from the artist Kaws. i have been researching about him for the past weeks, and it was just really cool to actually see some of his art work unclose. its like you could really feel what he was trying to say through some of his pieces.

at the museum i found a really astonishing art piece. its by some called Da-Ho Suh. he made a sculpture out of rejected military dog tags. he has a quote in his interview stating. "I wanted the viewer to have an experience with these little dog tags, these thousands of dog tags. it symbolizes each individual's identity... these many dog tags create this one, larger than life figure. its ambiguous wether you're a part of it or not." now when i first saw this art piece it reminded me of the christ redeemer statue on Rio De Janeiro. i just love this piece of art.

my other favorite piece of work was by the photographer of the name Kim Keever. he had the piece called "sunset" and it was just beautiful. his " panoramic photographs represent the evolution of landscape painting embodied by the hudson river school, luminism, and Romanticism." this is how he describes it on his bio on Artspace.com
