first lets start with the similarities. throughout all of the logos and pieces of graffiti, you will see that there is always something more than what meets the eye, you will always be able to take that piece of art and really dissect it for what it resembles. for example "Google", although the name is just weird you can see all the colors it has. those colors are very popular colors for kid toys, and it has an expression of imagination and creativity. and even the similarities are that they are always different. there is no two of the same logo, and same with graffiti.
okay so now that there is a basic knowledge of similarities, lets go to differences. logos, always something simple. very easy to point out and recognize what it is. it represents its self, its compony, and what it does. and with graffiti, its almost complete opposite with simple, you will almost never see a good simple graffiti. because graffiti is so abstract and vibrant, it catches the eye in so many ways, its not something that you can move from place to place, graffiti has a background that makes it stand out how it does. graffiti also has so much creativity in it, yes logos have creativity and take a long time, but graffiti it just so much flashier and shows a lot more. and with creativity and color, comes individualism and each artist shows themselfs through there work, and sometimes even stories, although its not to easy to really see the deep meaning behind it. its almost like the poetry back in the 1930's to where you might have to read one paragraph for an entire to understand its full meaning, its verry similar with graffiti and art. you have to look at the colors, the lines and shapes, and even whats not there. to understand what it means.
